I think this is useful from the log:

Whick OS/Java version do you use?

java version "1.6.0_15" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_15-b03-219) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.1-b02-90, mixed mode)
I tried trashing the java cache and did a consistency check on my database, no luck though.

Your application seems very interesting, I'd like to see if we (JavaFX Partner team at Sun) can help you in any way. You can either contact me at the email address I've filled in, or at javafx4you at sun dot com
Could it be JavaFX relies on Opengl, i got a x3100 in my macbook. It isn't the most "compatible" of all graphics cards.
I tried running it with windows on vmware, this works fine.

The link function doesn't really seems to work here.
Also the export function doesn't give the files an file-type extension.
Is it possible to make a option menu for the styles and colours for the graphs and the resolution for export?
are you going to update lrstats to read LightRoom 3 catalogs? I love your application and I hope I could continue to use it.
