My urban explorations from this year...
Photos from all these locations can be viewed on my website
Actually quite easy to create slick photo slide show in iMovie...probably could have done it in Adobe Premiere or any other tool too, but this is free with my macbook pro and works like a charm

Did some urban exploring this weekend, location this time was an old publishing factory. When urban exploring I mostly use an ultra-wide-angle lens (10-22) but this time I've tried to focus on details and used my 50 mm prime.

Provinciaal ziekenhuis
My first urbex trip in the Netherlands...this was a hospital for the mental ill, build in 1849 and closed in 2002.
This time no trouble with my clothing. Too bad much of the location has been trashed but still some nice things remained.
The chappel was one of the most eye pleasing rooms there, here is a 360 panorama of that chapel (flash)

Chateau du Loup
Last sunday I went on an urbex trip after a little tip. Destination: A small abandoned castle somewhere in Belgium...
After some difficulty to get in, I found myself standing in a grand hallway with one of the most beautiful marble staircases I ever saw, even the glass-in-lead window behind it was in perfect condition...
This castle was build in 1913 and abandoned in 2002. It will be reconverted, and some works have already been done, like installing steel I-Beams on the attic for stability.

Oh and a little pic to show that urbexing can be dangerous for clothes, that was wat was left of my pants after climbing in
Guess I'm more flexible than my clothes
